Eagle Scout constructs life jacket stations at Mozingo

MARYVILLE, Mo. — One local Eagle Scout chose to help local water enthusiasts with their safety at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park.

Eagle Scout Ian Stephenson constructed life jacket loaner stations at both boat ramps at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park. According to an email from Jordyn Greenhaw, Mozingo park director, the new stations were stocked full of life jackets by Memorial Day weekend and ready for use.

Now all the lakes in Nodaway County (Nodaway, Bilby and Mozingo) have these loaning stations built by Eagle Scouts.
