I'm a thick girl and did a Victoria's Secret haul
A SELF-STYLED "thick girl" has weighed in on new Victoria's Secret lingerie after admitting the brand "doesn't always get it right" for mid-size and plus-size bodies.
Model Jessenia Rebecca, who goes by Rebecca J on social media, sampled five outfits after previously being let down by the American lingerie retailer.
She tried a colourful mix of mesh and lace two-sets, bodysuits and robes for fellow "thick women" to see what the pieces looked like on a curvy body.
"My ratings are very important for the thick girls out there," Rebecca started. "Especially Victoria's Secret because they don't always get it right.
"So I’m gonna tell you how it feels on my voluptuous body."
The first outfit was a "poison ivy" green lingerie set that the model said she loved but divulged "the material is a little itchy".
The next set was a white corset with a matching thong that she dubbed "very Spanish vibes".
However, like the green set, Rebecca found it itchy where the material rubbed on her torso.
The third outfit she sampled was a lacy yellow one-piece that, although not itchy, had too much material around the stomach.
"This is a problem that most voluptuous women with big boobs and a small frame have," she critiqued.
"When you buy outfits like this, you're either gonna have a lot of material [on the stomach] and your boobs are just not gonna fit.
"That's my dilemma with Victoria's Secret; they haven't really figured out how to fit curvy women."
Like the previous two outfits, she found the bodysuit uncomfortable to wear and "felt self-conscious" while sporting it.
The fourth outfit Rebecca tried on was a floral and mesh bodysuit that "felt like butter" against her skin.
"The material is like this silky material," she praised. "I love this little mesh going on.
"It accentuates the curves, it hugs them. It makes my booty look delicious."
The one-piece had a matching silk robe too.
Similarly, the third outfit she tried on "felt like butter", being a T-shirt bra in light pink with a matching thong and lace robe.
"It's comfortable, it's sexy… who doesn't look good in pink?" Rebecca quipped.
The model's video totted up thousands of views on her YouTube channel with fellow women praising her no-frills review of the iconic brand's lingerie.
