I remember the first time I realized you could buy clothing on Amazon. Better yet, cute clothing on Amazon. I had complimented someone on their pants and asked where they had gotten them — "Amazon!" they raved. After that, I never looked back.

The best part? Almost everything I own from the powerhouse retailer's fashion section (from fleece lined leggings to summer dresses) is under $50. Don't get me wrong, I love investing in high-quality (usually more expensive) items like anyone else but I’m a true believer in mixing and matching. Investing in closet staples that will be in your wardrobe for years to come and spending less money on seasonal or trendy items.

When it comes to some of my holy grail items from Amazon, the dresses I’ve bought over the years are the pieces I reach for the most. Whether I’m looking for a cute number to wear to a summer wedding or need a sporty wrap dress with trendy, white sneakers while exploring a new city — they never disappoint.

Ahead get the low-down on all my favorite dresses from Amazon, all so affordable that I own a handful in more than one color or pattern!

Whether I was posing on the steps of the Fontana de Trevi with my favorite Rothy's sneakers or going to a happy hour in the city, I wore this polka-dot blue mini dress so much that it started to rip after two years of use. Thanks to the incredible price point, I was able to replace it in blue and black right away.

I own this dress in both light purple and black and wore them both to two different weddings. Not only do they look great on any body shape or size but are available in more than 30 colors and patterns and works great for a variety of occasions. Whether you’re wearing it with heels or sandals, the versatility is endless. Be warned: you’ll be complimented more times than you count!

While I’ve worn this dress many different times — from birthday dinners to museum visits — one of my favorite moments in this dress was visiting Seville, Spain as the design has a bit of Spanish influence. It's colorful, comfy and stands the test of time! Plus, at 5’9″, it lies at the perfect length.

Even for my sister's very particular rehearsal dinner attire in Montauk, NY, this beautiful dress made the cut! It's off-the-shoulder without sliding constantly, thanks to the comfortable, elastic band, plus it's ultra-forgiving around the waist and doesn't wrinkle — making it a very convenient option to wear when you need to look presentable all day and night.

I’ve owned this dress the longest out of any dresses on this list, so much so that it no longer comes in the black and white polka-dot pattern you see pictured above. Although, the basic black shade listed here will give a very similar look — heck, I may even buy it in black now, too!

It looks great with a pair of trendy sneakers and sandals and is so comfy that I can wear it sightseeing for hours, to sporting events, concerts and more.

As one of my most recent repurchases, I bought the same dress you saw pictured above in Spain, in another color scheme and pattern: pink and orange! This dress gives all the vacay/summer-vibes you could ever need.

Also another repurchase and the same dress as the black wrap dress you saw earlier in this article. This time I opted for a floral design that I’ve loved wearing during my warm weather travels as it's light, easy to pack and wrinkle-free.

While I don't have a personal photo of this dress, the red hue was a great option for Valentine's Day dinner this year. I loved the asymmetrical ruffle bottom, soft fabric and flattering neckline.

Another dress that I unfortunately don't have a picture in is this long, boho, wrap dress in a fun brown, leopard pattern that I wore for Thanksgiving last year and again in a blue shade for Easter a few years ago.
