The Inaccessible Black Vortex of Bianca Censori’s Dress

These days, dresses do more than just cover our bodies. Bianca Censori — former Yeezy employee and partner to Kanye West — attended a church service wearing a sheer, black, and architectural dress that left us all with many questions. The long and bodycon dress was topped with a cushioned wall that encircled Censori's neck region and had no armholes or sleeves, making it look like Censori's hands were encased in a clingy prison, clutching her phone.

Describing the dress is a challenge as there are no appropriate similes to do it justice. Some colleagues have referred to it as a satanic version of a ’70s Jell-O cake, a chess piece, or even a condom. To others, Censori looks like a goth egg or a leg inside pantyhose.

However, there are a few basic questions that arise. How did Censori put on the "dress"? Does she have to take the whole contraption off to pee, and if yes, how would she manage that? Also, how did her phone even get in there in the first place? What did fellow churchgoers think of this look? And finally, who is coming for this couple's shoulders?

Unfortunately, the answers to these questions are as inaccessible to us as the dress itself is to Censori. Perhaps the dress was more about the statement than functionality? It is unknown.

In summary, there are no limits on what a dress can do these days. However, sometimes, it is hard to differentiate between fashion and art.
