A YOUNG woman has shared her unbothered response to being shamed by strangers for wearing shorts.

The content creator revealed that older women often judge what she wears.

TikTok user Mel (@m3l.71) explained that so-called Karens always stare at her when she shows off her figure.

In her video, the TikToker showed off her impressive physique as she modeled an example of one of her offending looks.

Mel can be seen posing in a pair of light-washed denim shorts and a black tank top.

The influencer danced around in her outfit, shaking her hips before she flipped off the camera.

"Me in public wearing shorts while all the older women give me weird looks and judge me," Mel wrote in the clip.

In the caption of the video, the content creator said: "You wish you looked like me, sis."

The TikTok user advised her haters to "sit down, your time is over now."

In the comments section, Mel explained: "They know not to say shit to me anymore 'cause I stare right back at them but [they're] always looking."
